The writer here is 100% correct we once again are facing a big problem,
since the west is pretty much giving Putin the green light to move into
Ukraine he has also decided to try and increase his influence in Iran
just as the western nations and Iran is starting to make progress in
nuclear talks and normalizing relations, the last thing Russia wants.
The
United States is going to stand back and watch as Putin begins making
inroads toward those nations we don't have military alliances with and
are just now starting to establish better relations. The main problem
with Putin's plan is not the United States, United Kingdom or any of the
other western nations, the main interference with Putin's plan is going
to come from China, China is not going to stand back and let Russia
start spreading their sphere of influence over any Eurasian or Asian
nations such as Vietnam or Burma. I wouldn't even be surprised if Russia
starts sending more support in the direction of North Korea since it
seems China is starting to tire of their antics.
