MH 370: With no more pings detected, underwater vehicle to be deployed - CNN.com

People must use caution and not get their hopes up to much from the fact
they found a oil slick, first of all there are 15 ships operating in
the area and that oil slick could have came from any one of them,
remember ships themselves require fuel and oil not to mention the US
Navy has sent a ship to the area to fuel and resupply these ships.

I
spent 20 years in the United States Navy and we are very careful about
discharging any kind of chemical overboard as is nations like Australia,
New Zealand and the United Kingdom but there are ships from other
nations in the area that may not be as careful so that oil slick could
have came from one of the rescue ships.

Another thing to remember
a cyclone had recently came through the area and oil floats on the
surface and is pushed along with the water so that oil could have been
floating on the ocean surface for quite a while and came from a
significant distance away.

Don't get me wrong I am praying that
this comes to a end sooner than later so the families and friends of the
passengers on board the plane finds some closure but I'm just night
trying to get my hopes up to much to fast.
