Three dead, some still trapped after landslide near Oso | KING5.com Seattle

My prayers go out to the family and friends of those who lost their
lives in this landslide, to those who are still stranded under the
debris especially I hope they all are rescued safely. Prayers also go
out to those 8 who are injured and in the hospital.

Just so
many prayers that need to go out in this situation, because there are
those who are injured that didn't have to go to the hospital, those who
lost their homes but they themselves are OK. Then those who still are
threatened by further landslides and now a possible flash flood from the
river when the debris clear.

Everyone should be on the alert
no matter where you are in Western Washington state, of course you know
if your own home could possibly be in the zone of a possible landslide,
(not always so with a flash flood), but be aware of your surroundings if
your driving or out and about because the next two days (today and
Monday) are suppose to be nice in most places but starting Tuesday for
the next 7 days we have a 50% or more change of rain. Once the Earth
gives out one place it could happen anywhere when the ground is this
saturated!
