10News - Fast-food workers plan protests for 100 US cities; call for pay hike up to $15 an hour - 10News.com - News

I myself stand by these fast food workers, life is hard right now for a high majority of Americans, not one person can stand there and say anything bad about these men and women working fast food. They are WORKING, they are not sitting at home collecting unemployment, although they are most likely collecting food stamps, but they are in the workforce trying to provide for their families.

In this article they say that they don't get the turnout that they hope for, and I think the reason for that is if a fast food employee walks off the job even for one day that money they are missing from their next check means a lot, it could be missing money for a couple days of meals, new shoes for his/he family or gasoline for their car.

My idea here is that maybe those of us who use fast food should support these hard working Americans by not buying from a fast food restaurant on the day they plan their strike, I for one will not be eating any fast food from any restaurant on Thursday, let us as fellow Americans and workers stand up and support the fast food workers, and please don't buy fast food this coming Thursday! 10News - Fast-food workers plan protests for 100 US cities; call for pay hike up to $15 an hour - 10News.com - News
